Braidwood & Co. probated the Joe Philliponi estate - Judge Delores Holmes worked as a lawyer at Braidwood; Pat Holmes - son of judge Delores Holmes - still works there. There was a lot of family infighting over Joe's estate which Braidwood & Co. mediated
When Angelo Branca passed away the Filiponi's sent the Branca family liquor by the case load
After the pimping convictions were overturned, Angelo Branca retired from the bench and returned to private practice - at Braidwood & Co. He then represented the Phillipone business interests before the Liquor Board and successfully obtained back the Penthouse Liquor licence. It had earlier been revoked when the Phillipones had originally been convicted of the pimping charges
